Happy NaNoWriMo 2015!
NaNoWriMo began today at 12:00am. And if you were up since then working on your rough draft this month, all I can say is you’re better than me. I sleep like the dead, so won’t be starting until later. Either way, it’s only the fist day and our imagination is firing away at all cylinders.
The beginning of NaNoWriMo is always like that. But then those same cylinders starts to stall during the mid-November. And then some of us falls unbelievably behind once Thanksgiving hits. With all its festivities, the traveling, the hosting and the turkey eating.
Well to keep us motivated I’m sharing some of my favorite writing quotes. Quotes by authors, I loved so much I created a Pinterest board for them. Which I’ll be sharing with you throughout November. A little reminder to why we’re doing this to keep us motivated can do wonders, right?
Have any favorite writing quotes you’d like to share?
I hope you have fun and produce something that you can use.

I ate too much Halloween candy last night that my daughter was kind enough to share with me, passed out on the couch, woke up at 3 (well, actually 2 since the clocks have been set back an hour) and thought “Crap. It’s the first day of NaNo.” Fell back asleep then woke up at 6, made myself some coffee and started writing. I’m a terribly slow writer, so NaNo should be interesting lol I’m allowing myself quick breaks from writing, which is why I am reading WordPress posts! lol Now back to writing I shall go!

Lol, I’m a slow writer too. Woke up at 5am, forgot about daylight savings, so really woke up at my usual time (6am). Did laundry (still have to dry and fold), while milk chocolate Hershey kisses melt in my mouth and listening to love songs as I try to write my first romance.

I can relate, Lidy. I got less than half the required words typed yesterday. Then, today with doctor appointments, I didn’t get a chance to type at all. So, yes, I’m falling very far behind. 🙂

Sigh, don’t you just hate it when life gets in the way of word count? I dread the weekdays because they’re also workdays. I just know I’m going to fall behind and lose momentum, so I’m trying to write up as much as I can on a daily basis. It’d be great if NaNoWriMo was a national/federal month long holiday. 😦
