Happy first IWSG Day of 2018!
We’re starting the new year with old friends and some new to discuss our writing highs and lows. Offer support and encouragement. Thanks for bringing us all together for another year goes to ninja extraordinaire Alex Cavanaugh.
And thanks also goes to the awesome co-hosts posting today: Tyrean Martinson, Ellen @ The Cynical Sailor, Megan Morgan, Jennifer Lane, and Rachna Chhabria!

So what’s going on with me this month?
Well, I’ve figured out my 2018 writing plan, yet left it flexible in case you know…life happens. Plus I can pick and choose which writing project I’d want to tackle. So if I don’t like one or need a break, there’s another two or three I can choose to pick up. And whatever I haven’t been able to stay on plan with, I can rollover to next year.
It’s the third day of the month and you know what that means. It’s IWSG day! And what do we do on IWSG day? We share our woes and triumphs as well as encourage our fellow writers on this crazy writing journey. And as always, thanks to creating this community goes to ninja extraordinaire, Alex Cavanaugh!

So, what’s going on with me in the final month of my blogging break?

And grabbing two new books from the library the next day. Remember the cookie monster? Well I was the book monster!
Banned Books Week is coming up and I can’t just let it pass without doing something to celebrate. Last year I posted an open thread about banned books. But this year, although I’m pressed for time, I want to do something different.

Well it’s coming to the final week of #Wattys2015. And I like to give my thanks to those who’ve read, followed, voted, commented on my works on Wattpad. And retweeted about my work in progress novels on Twitter as well.
And here to express her thanks as well, is Nadia Kemp, the main character in Nadia, the Fire Witch, in her first ever interview:
I know, we’ve gone over this already, but what is your name? Hello, My name is Nadia, no middle name, Kemp. Continue reading
