What’s going on with me this month?
Finished plotting out the last five chapters and epilogue of The Soul Traveler. The epilogue is set five years after the events of the story. And left it open ended for a possible sequel with an older, none too wiser and still sassy MC, Kyna Lynn James.
In the beginning of 2017, I found myself binge watching Beverly Hills 90210. And boy did it take me back. So much so, that I had to find out the day it first premiered and vowed to do a post about it. Seven months have passed since then. OMG, there’s 41 Days until NaNoWriMo 2017! Plus it’s banned books week. In honor of both here are two fundamental tips on how to write your NaNo novel like a banned book. Because let’s face it, a banned book is fun to read. And as Tobias Wolff once said:
NaNoWriMo 2017 begins in 44 days! I know Preptober is next month but that doesn’t mean it’s not too early to start prepping now. For example, figuring out what music/playlist to listen to as we write our NaNo novel.
