So what’s going on with me this month?
I ended June in the beginning of writing chapter eight of the final Foreseen novella “With a Touch.” Only to end up stuck write while I’m near the finish line. Can you believe that? So did I overcome my writing block? Did I finish writing my Foreseen novella romance series? Did I make the word count goal? Let’s see.

As you can tell by all the 0’s July was my worse writing month yet. July 1st was a late start writing day. I was binge reading series by author Sylvia McDaniel. Which continued from June, from The Burnett Brides to Lead and Lipstick series. Watched episodes of Criminal Minds on Netflix. Did laundry and cleaned out the cupboards to spray for ants. Then watched Luke Cage season two with my husband. But after he insisted I finished watching season one. Because he refused to watch season two without me. Imagine his surprise when he realized I never made it passed episode two of season one.
After that, for the next three days, I got stuck. I knew how I wanted the final chapters to start and end. But of course, like always, the middle tripped me up. I didn’t get through the block until Thursday night. So from the first week of July, I only managed to write three days out of seven.
By the second week of July I haven’t gotten anywhere so decided to go back to basics. Pen and paper. Which I didn’t get to start until later. I was on my feet since forever cooking for my company’s potluck on the thirteenth.
Then I entered a reading binge the mother of all reading binges. I was binge reading like it was 1999. I read Maya Banks’ McCabe Trilogy. Her The Montgomerys and Armstrongs series and her Anetakis Tycoons series. I read Kresley Cole’s MacCarick Brothers series. And Colleen Gleason’s Medieval Herb Garden series. Read Julie Garwood’s Highlands’ Lairds series. And finally read book two of her Lairds’ Fiancees series “The Wedding.” Have books eight through twelve of Elizabeth Hoyt’s Maiden Lane series left to read. Why?
Because I’m stuck.
Stuck, stuck, stuck. I’ve had writing bumps and blockages before but nothing like this. I’m so stuck this blog post came out four hours later than it’s supposed to. I’m so stuck, with one chapter left including a bonus chapter length short to finish “Foreseen,” I’ve got nothing.
I need help getting unstuck so I can finally write the words ‘The End’ to this manuscript. Any suggestions?
Total word count in July to:
Which brought my total 85K90 to date word count to:
Somewhere between 77,997 and 78,000 words!
So that leaves me with one to two chapters, a bonus short and at least ~7,000 words to go!
On another note, my “Foreseen” WIP has reached rank of #17 out of 560 stories in erotic romance on Wattpad!
And I added a few more pins to my secret Pinterest storyboard for my potential fantasy Hellsgate. Meet the merry creatures of Hellsgate (which is now looking at possibly being my NaNoWriMo 2018 novel):
