Insecure Writers Support Group New Badge

Happy IWSG Day!

It’s the first Wednesday of a new month. And so we, the Insecure Writer’s Support Group, are back again. Encouraging each other as we continue trekking on our writing journeys. As well as sharing our woes. Who do we have to thank for this creative support community? The ninja extraordinaire Alex Cavanaugh!

To find out more about the group and/or maybe even sign-up, click on the badge above.  And don’t forget to check out my other co-hosts:  Stephen Tremp, Fundy Blue, MJ Fifield, Loni Townsend, Bish Denham, Susan Gourley, and Stephanie Faris!

Our Twitter hashtag is #IWSG

So, what’s going on with me this month?

Well, I’m on a blogging break. A much needed one as April was crazy. As usual. And coupled with an ongoing blog tour. My first one actually and a successful one I’d have to say. Had 452 entries for my Rafflecopter giveaway. And 463 entry requests for my Goodreads giveaway. My Twitter audience grew from 1,377 to 1,857 followers from my blog tour from March 1 to April 30th. That’s 480 new followers in 61 days!

And all thanks goes to Terri and Jennelle for their reviews of Can You Catch My Flow? And thanks to Elements of Emaginette, Urszula, Quanie, C.G. Cuppola, Diane Coto, Misha, Alice Osborn, Beatriz Fernandez, Carrie Ann Golden, Catharine Bramkamp, Rachael, Roger Brightly, Sandra Cox, Heather Hayden and Alex Cavanaugh, for featuring me on your blog as a guest blogger. And promoting my chapbook. Thanks again to Stephanie Faris and Doug for the wonderful review on Amazon too.

Also, thanks and congrats again to James, Wendy, Thomas & Elle! The winners of my Rafflecopter giveaway! And congrats to Megan, Mike, Emilee, Diane and Medeena who will be receiving 5 autographed copies of Can You Catch My Flow? from my Goodreads giveaway.

Thanks so much for participating.

Despite the numbers, it was a great experience sharing more of myself and why I write poetry with all of you.

So, what’s going on with me this month? I’m feeling very thankful. So again, thank you.

Now I’m off to spend my blogging break finish rereading Angels and Demons. Reading books on Wattpad and Kindle App. And maybe satisfy my hankering to reread The Hunger Games. And continue on my work in progress novels The Soul Traveler and Dreaming of You.

What’s going on with you this month?

    • Thank you again. I had fun visiting all the blogs as a guest blogger. And learned some personal do’s and don’t’s for the next time I do a blog tour too.
