I Came, I Saw, I Conquered…Not

Well folks, NaNoWriMo has ended and sadly to say, I wasn’t able to complete the challenge.

On Saturday, November 30th , my word count stood at 29,905 words. Although I wasn’t able to become a NaNo winner doesn’t mean I’m down yet.

There are probably a lot of NaNoWriMo challengers who weren’t able to complete the challenge in 30 days. But 50k challenge aside the point of NaNo was to get you writing and that it did. I did more writing in one month than I did in six months for Spiritus Mundi. Actually, I think it’s more like doing six months of writing in one.

Even with NaNo over, I’m still writing with a goal with completing the first draft of “Nadia, the Hidden Fire Witch,” formerly known as Witches, by the end of December, which I’ve named as NaDecWriMo.

And for my 2014 New Year’s resolution, polish, polish and polish the first of the Nadia book series into a manuscript and submit it to agents and publishers before the year 2014 ends.

For the NaNoWriMo’s out there, winners or not, congratulations, don’t let your writing end November 30th and good luck.

PS. Will continue with Spiritus Mundi as well, so if I’m able, I might have two first of a book series ready for submission.
